TACTUS AI is developing intelligent laboratory robotics to accelerate scientific discovery and improve global healthcare. Our embodied AI platform pairs advanced humanoid robots with a proprietary lab orchestrator – software that coordinates the robots, instruments, and information systems in real time to improve quality and streamline lab workflows.
We’re looking for a creative, high-energy Marketing Intern to help us tell our story to the world!
The RoleIn this role you will be on the front lines of our marketing efforts. We need someone who can translate complex robotics into “must-watch” content. You’ll spend your summer capturing our robots in action, managing our digital presence, and helping us prep for major industry conferences.
What You’ll Do- Content Creation: Produce, edit, and polish high-impact video content featuring our robots.
- Social Media Management: Own the grid. You’ll draft, schedule, post content, and analyze results across Linked In and other platforms, engaging with our community and growing our following.
- Conference & Event Support: Help us gear up for industry shows. You’ll assist with logistics, promotional materials, and ensuring the Tactus brand shines on the exhibit floor.
- Strategy & Planning: Work directly with leadership to support the execution of our 2026 Marketing Plan, providing fresh perspectives on how to reach diagnostics and life science audiences.
- Brand Ambassadorship: Be the “eyes and ears” on-site, finding the small, interesting moments in our San Diego lab that make for great storytelling.
- Current Student: You are currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program (Marketing, Communications, Film/Digital Media, or a related field preferred).
- Visual Storyteller: You have a portfolio (or a very polished Tik Tok/Instagram/You Tube) that shows off your video editing and aesthetic sensibilities.
- Tech-Fluent: You aren’t intimidated by robots; in fact, you think they’re cool.
- Self-Starter: You thrive in a fast-paced startup. You like to work in a small team and you’re okay with pivoting when a robot learns a new trick.
- Locally Based: You are able to work full-time out of our San Diego office for the duration of the summer.
- Competitive hourly pay.
- Hands-on experience in a high-growth robotics startup.
- Mentorship from industry experts in tech and life sciences.
- The chance to see your work directly impact the company’s growth.
- A fridge full of snacks and a team that actually likes coming to work!
