Torres & Zheng at Law, P.C. is a boutique securities and business law firm dedicated to serving the legal needs of businesses, individuals, and employers, with a niche in serving public companies.

We are entrepreneurs. Our firm was founded by entrepreneurs and built to serve entrepreneurs. Our vision is to build a platform for entrepreneurial lawyers to build the type of future that they envision for themselves—to build the type of career that they desire; to disrupt the traditional law firm partnership structure and reinvent the client experience with client-centered lawyering by empowering our lawyers to find their “Ikagai” a Japanese concept which encourages people to do what they love and what they are good at.

This is not a work-life balance job opportunity. This job will be demanding, but through this job experience, you will become a better vision of yourself. We will help and train you to become the best vision of you possible.

Our core values are the following, which you can remember by using the acronym “SCREAM”:

  • Service – We place our client matters above our own personal matters.
  • Client-centric approach – Our services and business model are designed to put clients’ needs first.
  • Relationships – We believe in building quality relationships. We treat our colleagues like family, not business colleagues.
  • Empowerment – We thrive to empower you to work remotely, autonomously, and improve your own critical thinking ability.
  • Accountability – We expect you to hold yourself accountable to helping us provide premium legal services to the level of a New York City boutique law firm.
  • Mastery – We expect you to continually thrive to become a better version of yourself and continually educate yourself. This is a life goal, not a destination.

Our vision is to build a boutique business law firm, whereby we provide clients with world-class, value-added legal services to empower visionaries to fulfill their visions and improve the lives of all humanity by spurring social changes, propelling economic growth, and shaping a better future for us all. This will take sacrifice. It will take hard work and dedication. Before you apply, we recommend you deeply consider whether you want to be part of this mission.
