In partnership with the Cisco Networking Academy, UNITE-LA presents Step into Tech, a PAID OPPORTUNITY providing pathways for justice involved/impacted individuals 18-28 that live in Los Angeles county into careers in tech.

Step into Tech is a 2-part program, part one is a 6-week program that meets via Zoom on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:00am – 12:00pm. Part 1 launches March 10th and continues until April 16th.

• You must identify with being justice involved or justice impacted.
• You must be 18-28 years old.
• You must reside in Los Angeles County.

• Participants Receive Hands-On Introductory Training in Networking, Cyber Security, and Data Science.
• An Opportunity to Earn a Lifetime Certifications in a Tech Pathway.
• Get Paid to Learn! Stipends Available for participants that successfully complete the program.
• Career Exploration in Tech & Entrepreneurship.
• Training Exploration in Tech & Entrepreneurship.
• Mentoring and Peer-to-Peer Support.
• Professional engagement and networking w/ employers in the industry.

• Expungement and Live Scan Overview.
• Mock Interviews.
