We are officially providing Intensive Behavioral Health Services (IBHS), including Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) Specialized Autism Services.
Due to the new services we are providing, we are currently looking for Behavioral Health Technicians! We currently have both Full-Time and Part-Time positions as well as day and evening hours available! Individuals employed in our Franklin office will ONLY be required to work/travel in Venango County.
Responsibilities- Provision of specific interventions to assist the child in developing age-appropriate self-management skills as indicated in the treatment plan.
- Support to parents, teachers, and other adults responsible for supervising the child.
- Assistance to the parents, teachers or other adult in providing therapeutic structure and limits for the child.
- Assistance in implementing the behavioral intervention plan for the child.
- Assistance in implementing alternative activities to redirect challenging behaviors.
- Assistance in promoting positive relationships with parents, siblings, teachers, aides, and peers.
- Assistance in ensuring safety to the child and others.
- Instruction on stress reduction techniques
- Behavioral stabilization and interventions to support services provided by a behavior specialist or mobile therapist
- Assistance in promoting positive behavior with peers, in the community, and school setting.
- Have a certification as an RBT – OR –
- Have a high school diploma or the equivalent of a high school diploma and have completed a 40-hour training covering the RBT Task List – This training will be provided by the employer for the employee – OR –
- Have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the provision of behavioral health services.
All applicants will be required to obtain a Child Abuse Clearance, PA State Criminal Background Check, and an FBI Background Check before employment can begin.
Driver’s License is required for this position.
