Dr. Rebecca Katz leads a highly regarded eating disorder specialty practice in Bethesda, MD and is seeking a dedicated and skilled psychotherapist to join her team. Early career pre-licensed post docs and seasoned clinicians are welcome to apply. This position works with eating disorder patients of all ages. Experience/comfort working with children is ideal. The work is rooted in Health at Every Size® and evidence-based practices.
The position will include training in the use of evidence-based treatments for eating disorders including Enhanced Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT-E), Family-Based Treatment (FBT/Maudsley Method), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for ARFID (CBT-AR). Dr. Katz’s practice works closely with local dietitians, medical doctors, psychiatrists, and treatment centers.
Additional clinical demands include treating anxiety and related disorders through the lifespan. This is an opportunity for a highly motivated person to gain expertise in evidence-based treatment for eating disorders and to help grow the group as well as develop professionally.
Successful candidates will be independent, energetic, direct, and collaborative. This is a 1099 position. This position is hybrid and requires some hours in the Bethesda office; some of the hours can be remote. Clinician will create their own, flexible schedule. Afternoon and evening availability is ideal due to practice needs. Opportunity to stay with the practice and grow caseload. Compensation can increase due to training and tenure.

- Must be eligible to work in Maryland
- Licensed Professionals, including Clinical Psychologists (PhD/PsyD), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker – Clinical (LCSW-C)
- Post-doc position:
Completion of all doctoral degree requirements for a PhD or PsyD in Clinical or Counseling Psychology - Interest and/or experience in the treatment of eating & anxiety disorders
- Experience in evidence-based treatments including CBT, DBT, and/or ERP
