Early Intervention Specialist – TherapeuticPositions start as part-time hours (about 20-25 per week); potential to build up to full-time hours – depending on availability and caseload in certain areas

- San Gabriel
- Covina
- Riverside
- Corona/Chino
- San Bernardino
- Redlands
- May have need in areas such as Menifee/Perris as well
* Bilingual in Spanish, Mandarin-Chinese, or any other language(s) is in high need – if you are interested in learning we can train you!
The position: Raising a child with a developmental disability is a journey that takes knowledge, love, patience, and support. You will be part of a team that provides in-home early intervention specialized services for infants and toddlers where they can naturally learn and develop.
- Plan, schedule and provide weekly early educational in-home services for a caseload of infant/toddlers with disabilities including developmental delays and programs for children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders.
- Administer and document all program assessments and updates accurately to meet timelines.
- Design, implement, and adapt activities for language, cognitive, fine and gross motor, sensory, self-help, and social/emotional development, for each individual child, utilizing best practices.
- Model effective adult-child interactions and provide written information on parenting, child development, and provide parents with written weekly activities and effective coaching.
- Monitor, document, and share the child’s progress with the family and team.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree (any major) required
- May be able to count years of experience working with children in place of Bachelor’s degree. (example: 2 years of college plus 2 years of experience working/volunteering with children would be equivalent)
- Some coursework in Early Childhood education or Human Development or related is desired
- One year experience working with infants or young children and their parents/guardians
* if candidate has Bachelor’s degree (any major) experience requirement may be waived
- Valid CA driver’s license in good standing; also must have been licensed driver for at least one year (in any US state)
- Access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills and ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
- Effective communication skills to manage relationships a compassionate approach and a commitment to quality in everything you do
- Flexible availability that may include daytime as well as some evening and some weekend meeting times.
