Dudley Family Dental and Webster Lake Dental are looking for a patient centric General Dentist. This a great opportunity for a newer doctor to join at team with an experienced doctor who is able and willing to mentor. This position requires a split schedule between two offices.

We are community-based offices with the support and resources of Simply Dental Management. Our Resource Center Teams cover the business and administrative support sides of the practice to allow our office teams to focus on providing outstanding patient care.

Principle Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Provide and manage direct patient care, including examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnoses, and treatment for a specified patient population.
  • Prescribe pharmaceuticals, other medications, and treatment regimens as appropriate to assessed medical conditions.
  • Refer patients to specialists and to relevant patient care components as appropriate.
  • Direct and coordinate the patient care activities of dental technical and support staff as required.
  • Follow established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, continuous quality improvement objectives, and safety, environmental, and/or infection control standards.
  • As appropriate to the position, participates in specified health promotion, education, and/or prevention programs.
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

  • Ability to foster a cooperative work environment.
  • Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to supervise and train employees, including organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling work assignments.
  • Knowledge of related accreditation and certification requirements.
  • Knowledge of community medical diagnostic and patient care services in the area of medical expertise.
  • Knowledge of current principles, methods, and procedures for the delivery of medical evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment in your area of expertise.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of legal and ethical standards for the delivery of dental surgical care.
  • Ability to observe, assess, and record symptoms, reactions, and progress.
  • Knowledge of relevant drugs and non-pharmaceutical patient care aids and ability to prescribe dosages and instruct patients regarding correct usage.
