Social Media Content Specialist (Part-Time Student Role)

We are seeking a creative and motivated Social Media Content Specialist to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for a student with a passion for content creation who wants to gain hands-on experience working directly with one of the company’s owners, of a fast-growing and trendy brand in NYC.

You will be responsible for executing our weekly content strategy, producing high-quality video, photo, and graphic design assets that align with our brand book. This is a great opportunity for someone eager to build their portfolio while contributing meaningfully to a growing brand.

• Collaborate one-on-one with the owner every week to plan and develop the weekly content strategy.
• Create original content, including photography, videography, and graphic design.
• Film and produce 2–3 short-form content pieces per week

• Edit videos and photos to ensure they meet brand standards.
• Ensure all content aligns with our brand book and visual identity

• Attend a weekly content touchbase meeting with the owner.

• 1–2 years of experience in photography, videography, and/or graphic design (school projects, internships, or freelance work welcome).
• Proficiency with editing tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Final Cut, or similar).
• A keen eye for detail and strong understanding of visual storytelling.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with leadership.
• Organized, reliable, and able to meet deadlines.
• Commitment: 5–10 hours per week
• Compensation: $250/month retainer. Free Brown Bag Sandwiches.
• Structure: Remote + weekly in-person/virtual meeting with the owner
