Location: Atlanta, GA (Hybrid)
Time Commitment: Part-time (8–12 hours/week; evenings/weekends as needed)

About the Role

This externship is ideal for a highly organized, execution-focused student interested in event planning, logistics, and operations
. The extern will support planning and execution of several real-world events, including a wedding, a large family reunion, and additional hosted events throughout the semester.

This is a hands-on role focused on output. You’ll work directly with the founder and be expected to manage details, timelines, and follow-through with professionalism and accountability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with planning and coordination of events (weddings, family reunions, private gatherings)
  • Track timelines, budgets, vendor contracts, and planning checklists
  • Coordinate with vendors, venues, and service providers
  • Manage RSVPs, guest communications, and logistics
  • Prepare run-of-show documents and event-day schedules
  • Provide on-site support for Atlanta-based events as needed
Who This Role Is For
  • A college student seeking academic credit (event management, hospitality, communications, business, or related fields preferred)
  • Extremely organized, reliable, and detail-oriented
  • Comfortable managing logistics, deadlines, and follow-ups
  • Professional communicator with strong written and verbal skills
  • Based in or near Atlanta
    , with availability for in-person support
