Join the Oshkosh Police Dept. as our Property Evidence Clerk! This vital role offers the opportunity to meticulously manage and catalog evidence, contributing significantly to resolving complex criminal investigations.
Pay Range $28.35 – $32.40 per hour
Work Schedule: This is a part-time position working the following schedule.
- Sunday from 10:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
- Monday – Thursday from 1:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Key Tasks:
- Oversee and meticulously catalog evidence with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Utilize photographic expertise to systematically organize crime scene imagery.
- Contribute to courtroom proceedings by presenting evidence clearly and confidently.
- Maintain comprehensive and current digital records.
- Facilitate the efficient return of recovered property to its rightful owners.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Driver’s License.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Associate Degree in Criminal Justice, Office Management, Management Information Systems, or related field.
- At least two (2) years of experience in office management and computerized record keeping.
- Prior law enforcement experience.
