Multiskilled Shift Engineer – HVAC Bias

Qualification required: NVQ Level 3 in Air Conditioning, Heating, Plumbing or Electrical

General maintenance ppm and reactive work across the hospital. We are looking for an experienced Shift HVAC Bias to work with Mitie client in a hospital environment to conduct work that provides a multi-skilled maintenance service, which covers electrical and mechanical disciplines and to provide a reactive and pro‑active maintenance service as per project requirements to all operational equipment.

You will be responsible for carrying out modifications and installations when required, maintaining, repairing, and calibrating electrical, mechanical and instrumentation plant to optimise both reliability and maintainability. You will provide a service that ensures all key performance indicators are met and liaise with contractors or external suppliers where required. You will also need to complete any required paperwork, produce reports accurately and on a timely basis.

• Complete maintenance ppm and reactive
• Use appropriate test equipment and tools, understanding their limitations
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and attend toolbox talks

• Strong understanding of electrical systems, plant, and controls
• Ability to read and follow technical drawings and procedures
