Position: CNC Programmer (Permanent)
CNC Programmer / Setter – Lathes (Siemens Controls)

Location:

Dudley
Rate: £19 per hour

Shift: Fixed Afternoons – Monday to Thursday, 2:00pm to 1:00am

An established and growing precision engineering manufacturer based in Dudley is looking to recruit an experienced CNC Programmer / Setter to join their machining team on a fixed afternoon shift.

The company specialises in the production of high-quality, low- to medium-volume components for a range of industrial and engineering sectors. They operate a modern, well-maintained machine shop and place a strong emphasis on quality, consistency, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Programming, setting, and operating CNC lathes using Siemens controls
Writing and editing programs both offline and at the machine
Producing precision components to tight tolerances
Interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications
Carrying out first-off inspections and ongoing quality checks
Working closely with engineering and production teams to meet deadlines

Candidate Requirements:

Proven experience programming CNC lathes with Siemens controls
Strong understanding of turning processes, tooling, and cutting parameters
Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
High attention to detail and commitment to quality
Reliable and comfortable working fixed afternoon shifts
