Quality Inspector – Aerospace Manufacturing
Salary: £28,000 – £35,000 per year + overtime

Location:

Dudley (easily commutable from Tipton, Wolverhampton, and surrounding areas)

The Opportunity
We’re looking for an experienced Quality Inspector to join a leading aerospace engineering business. This is a hands-on role in a modern, high-tech manufacturing environment where precision and accuracy are critical.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

* Inspecting complex aerospace components to ensure they meet tight tolerances.

* Reading and interpreting detailed engineering drawings.

* Using a wide range of measuring equipment, from micrometers and height gauges to CMMs and Faro Arms.

* Working closely with production and quality teams to identify and resolve issues quickly.

Inspection Tools You’ll Use

* Verniers, calipers, micrometers, height gauges

* Faro Arm & Keyence image measurement systems

* Portable and fixed CMMs (video and probe)

What We’re Looking For

* A solid understanding of engineering drawings – essential for this role.

* Previous experience in dimensional or quality inspection within an engineering or manufacturing environment.

* Hands-on ability with a range of metrology tools.

* Strong attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and a collaborative approach.
