We are seeking an experienced Technical IT Project Manager to lead the delivery of multiple concurrent IT projects across infrastructure, security, and business systems. A key focus of the role will be achieving and maintaining Cyber Essentials Plus accreditation and managing the implementation and rollout of Microsoft Dynamics 365 across the organisation.
This role requires a technically credible project manager who can engage with engineers, vendors, and senior stakeholders while maintaining strong governance, planning, and delivery discipline.
Key Responsibilities- Lead end-to-end delivery of IT and technology projects from initiation through to closure
- Manage organisation roadmap towards ongoing compliance with Cyber Essentials Plus
- Plan and deliver Microsoft Dynamics 365 implementations, upgrades and rollouts
- Define project scope, objectives, timelines, risks, and success criteria
- Manage internal technical teams, third-party suppliers, and system integrators
- Ensure projects follow appropriate governance, reporting, and change control processes
- Coordinate security, infrastructure, and application work streams to ensure aligned delivery
- Maintain project documentation, RAID logs, financial tracking, and reporting packs
- Support stakeholder communication at technical, operational, and executive levels
- Ensure transition to support teams with documentation and knowledge transfer
- Experience delivering complex IT projects in a manufacturing environment
- Experience delivering Cyber Essentials Plus readiness or certification projects
- Strong experience delivering Microsoft Dynamics 365 implementations or rollouts
- Solid technical understanding of infrastructure, identity, endpoint security and cloud platforms
- Experience managing vendors, system integrators, and managed service providers
- Strong planning, risk management, and governance skills
- Ability to translate technical detail into business-level reporting
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
Calm, structured and delivery-focussed approach - Strong communication skills across both technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience in security frameworks or compliance programmes
- Familiarity with Azure, M365, and modern workplace technologies
- Experience with data migration, integration, or ERP/CRM transformation programmes
- PRINCE2, PMP, Agile, or equivalent project management certification
