Are you an experienced Adults Social Worker looking for your next locum opportunity? Dudley MBC is seeking a confident and skilled Social Worker to join their Learning Disabilities Team, supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs to live safe, independent and fulfilling lives.

This is a fast-paced, rewarding role for someone with at least 2 years' post-qualified permanent experience in Adults Social Work who thrives in statutory services.

You will manage a varied and complex caseload, completing:

• Care Act 2014 assessments and reviews using strengths-based, person-centred approaches
• Support planning and risk management
• Section 42 safeguarding enquiries
• Mental Capacity Assessments (MCA) and Best Interest decisions
• Court of Protection and DoLS work
• Transitions from Children's to Adult Services
• Multi-agency partnership work with health, housing and providers
• Duty rota responsibilities

• Social Work England registered
• Qualified Social Worker (Degree/DipSW)
• Strong knowledge of the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act and safeguarding legislation
• Confident managing complex LD cases
• Excellent assessment and report-writing skills
• Full UK driving licence

• Competitive £31.97 per hour
