Overview
Our Bushey Fields site (Dudley) is currently recruiting for a number of Health Care Support workers for FT perm positions specifically on Kinver ward. Kinver Ward is a MALE Ward. A £2million investment has given the ward space at Bushey Fields Hospital in Dudley an upgrade as part of a programme to improve inpatient environments at Black Country Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.
The newly upgraded Kinver ward will provide inpatient support for males requiring mental health care, offering 16 beds in a modern and comfortable setting. The refurbishment includes the latest technology and design features, such as anti-ligature fixtures, advanced alarm systems, and dedicated spaces for activities, quiet reflection, and social interaction. Patients will also benefit from a courtyard garden and a dedicated room for those needing support for their physical health.
Adjacent to the main ward, there is a place of safety suite that offers a private and dignified space for individuals who are admitted for urgent assessment.
The role of Health Care Support Worker is a key and valued part of our in-patient services, assisting and supporting our Nursing Provision. For more details on the role – please see below. Please note these roles cover shift patterns which can include weekends, nights and days – please do ensure you are willing to work shifts before applying. Sadly due to the banding we CANNOT PROVIDE sponsorship for this role.
