Support Worker
Oakleigh Lodge is a residential care home in Dudley providing support and care for adults with learning disabilities, epilepsy, complex needs, and autism.

- £12.50 per hour, will increase to £12.60 per hour after successful completion of probation period.
- 33 hours per week. Shifts 8pm to 8am, 3 nights per week. Weekend and bank holiday working required.
- We operate a two‑week rolling rota.
- Working alternate weekends.

- All aspects of personal care, feeding, cooking, some cleaning, and key working.
- Operate hoists and have previous experience doing this.
- Settling residents in the evening and supporting through the night.
- Supporting with activities and interests both within the service and out in the community.
- Epilepsy training will be given; however, previous experience is required.
- Providing person‑centered care.
- Minimum 1 year of experience working within the social care sector.
- Experience of working with either learning disabilities, autism, or epilepsy is essential.
- Previous experience in operating hoists.
- Ability and passion to support the individual needs of our residents, providing high quality person‑centered care.
- An NVQ level 2 or above in health and social care preferable but not essential; if you don’t have this, we expect willingness to achieve.
