Consulo are a proud recruitment partner to a certified world leader in precision engineering and manufacturing who are seeking a UK Sales Manager to lead and develop its UK & Ireland sales function.

This appointment forms a crucial part of the organisation’s long-term succession planning strategy. The successful individual will be viewed as a future senior leader within the UK and wider European structure in the next 3 years.

The Role

You will take full ownership of the regional sales strategy, driving sustainable revenue growth, expanding market share and strengthening key customer relationships across OEM and End-User environments

This is a strategic leadership position requiring commercial maturity, strong mechanical technical credibility and the ability to influence at both operational and executive level.

Key responsibilities include:

* Developing and executing a robust medium- to long-term sales strategy aligned with global objectives

* Leading, mentoring and elevating an external sales team of 5

* Driving structured new business acquisition alongside high-level key account development

* Identifying market opportunities across precision engineering, automation, advanced manufacturing and high-performance industrial sectors

* Managing forecasting, budgeting and performance metrics with a disciplined, data-driven approach

* Working closely with senior leadership on succession planning and future growth initiatives

* Representing the business at executive-level customer meetings and industry forums

The Person

We are seeking a commercially proven sales leader who is established in their career, operating with confidence and credibility within a technical engineering environment, and motivated by long-term progression.

Experience with in precision engineering, engineered mechanical systems, industrial automation, motion control, power transmission, advanced manufacturing or technical industrial components would be highly advantageous.
