• In this role, the successful Mechanical Maintenance Engineer or similar will be responsible for both the reactive and preventative maintenance for plant/steel processing machinery.
• In addition, you will also be responsible for service and repair, as well as troubleshooting and diagnostics of said machinery.
• On top of this, you will be responsible for cross-departmental liaison to ensure the smooth running of the factory.
• Finally, you will be responsible for keeping accurate technical documentation of any projects worked.

• Have a background within the Steels/Heavy Industry.
• Previous working experience as a maintenance engineer on an industrial scale.
• Strong organisational, communicational and analytical skills.
• Ideally have an HNC/NVQ qualification within Engineering or above.
