SEN Teaching Assistant
£415 – £500 a week.

Are you a Teaching Assistant with a heart for supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)? Do you thrive in environments where every day brings purpose, challenge, and the chance to change lives? If so, we have the ideal role for you!
Located near Brierley Hill, Dudley the school are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join the team. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with Teachers, and the SENDCo to support children with a range of additional needs, this could include:
- Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
- ADHD
- Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN)
- Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH)
- Moderate to Severe learning difficulties.
This is a fantastic opportunity if you have a calm and nurturing character, supporting students in their learning, development and wellbeing. Key Responsibilities include providing tailored classroom support to meet individual learning plans (EHCPs) and encourage social development in and outside of the classroom.
Role Requirements- Teaching Assistant experience is required, especially SEN experience working with children with PMLD, SLD or Autism.
- Previous experience working in Education is desirable.
- A willingness to provide personal care if required.
- A commitment to promoting equality and diversity in the classroom
- An understanding of child protection and safeguarding guidelines
- Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one through Connex Education.
- Competitive daily rate – £415 – £500 a week!
