Level 3 Teaching Assistant - Year 4/5 (ASAP Start - Easter, with Potential to Extend)

A well-established special school in Sedgley is seeking a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to support a small Year 4/5 class. This role is to start as soon as possible, initially running until Easter, with the possibility of being extended for the right person.

About the Role You will be working within a supportive team, helping pupils with a range of additional needs to access learning in a calm and structured environment. Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting teaching and learning within a Year 4/5 group.
• Providing 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with SEND.
• Assisting with differentiation, behaviour support, and classroom routines.
• Creating a nurturing, consistent, and engaging learning atmosphere.
• Working closely with teachers and other support staff to meet pupils' individual needs.

What the School are Looking For

• A Level 3 qualified Teaching Assistant (or equivalent).
• Experience or confidence working with SEND pupils.
• Someone patient, proactive, and able to build strong, positive relationships.
