PMLD Teaching Assistant

Overview

SEND School (Dudley) is looking for a caring, patient, and dedicated Teaching Assistant with experience supporting pupils with PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties). We are working with a warm and inclusive SEND school in Dudley that is looking for a PMLD Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team.

• Support pupils with PMLD, including personal care where required.
• Assist with sensory activities, communication, and learning through play.
• Work closely with teachers, therapists, and other support staff.
• Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment.

• Experience working with PMLD and/or complex needs.
• Kind, patient, and passionate about SEND education.
• Ability to work well as part of a team and to get involved in school life.
• Positive attitude and a genuine desire to support pupils  development.
• A friendly and welcoming approach to the school environment.
• Respect for supportive leadership and an experienced staff team.
• Willingness to contribute to daily school life and routines.
