We are seeking an experienced Aluminium Window, Door & Curtain Wall Designer to join our team.
This is a hands‑on technical role working closely with our factory and subcontract design partner to deliver high-quality façade solutions from design stage through to fabrication and production.
You will play a key role in turning concept and tender information into fully detailed construction and fabrication drawings, ensuring accuracy and buildability throughout the process.
Key Responsibilities- Work alongside our subcontract designer to develop drawings to construction-issue standard
- Produce detailed fabrication drawings for aluminium windows, doors and curtain wall systems
- Collaborate on system design, technical detailing, interfaces and setting out
- Liaise daily with the factory team to ensure smooth manufacturing and resolve technical queries
- Order project-specific materials (glass, panels, hardware, accessories etc.)
- Review drawings and specifications, ensuring compliance with system and project requirements
- Support installation planning and resolve site‑based technical queries if required
- Proven technical experience in the aluminium fenestration sector (windows, doors & curtain walling)
- Strong understanding of system profiles, manufacturing processes and installation methods
- Ability to produce accurate fabrication drawings and technical details
- Proficiency in industry CAD/design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Logi Kal or similar)
- Excellent attention to detail and strong problem‑solving skills
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work full‑time from our office to remain closely involved with the factory production process
