Social Housing – Planned & Reactive Maintenance

Support the commercial management of social housing maintenance works, operating within schedule of rates contracts. The role involves cost control, valuations, variations and subcontractor support across high-volume works.

• Assist with valuations and payments under schedule of rates (must have a good knowledge of this)
• Support cost tracking, forecasts and monthly reporting
• Measure works and assess variations
• Assist with subcontractor procurement and applications
• Liaise with site teams and operational staff
• Maintain accurate commercial records

• Experience in a Trainee / Assistant QS or commercial role
• Understanding of cost control and valuations
• Good Excel skills xlqdzyr and attention to detail
• Willingness to learn schedule of rates
• QS qualification (studying or completed) desirable

• Hands‑on experience in social housing maintenance
• Clear development path
