Key RequirementPublic sector procurement experience at other Local Authorities and experience of adults and children’s social care procurement.
Job SummaryTo deliver procurement operations and activity (tenders, mini‑competitions via frameworks, etc.) for directorates and schools.
Supporting the delivery of savings and efficiencies (both cashable and non‑cashable). Ensuring that all contracts awarded are recorded on the contract register and that a digital copy of each contract is stored electronically.
Supporting the delivery of the Forward Procurement Plan.
Ensuring that all procurement activity has a procurement plan and delivers best value for the residents of Dudley borough.
Learning and supporting the delivery of innovative procurement procedures.
