What You’ll Be Doing:
You’ll take ownership of full bookkeeping for a portfolio of client businesses, including:
* Posting sales invoices, credit notes, and receipts
* Analysing and processing purchase invoices and payments
* Bank reconciliations and ledger reviews
* Journal entries, petty cash, and credit card reconciliations
* Producing customer statements and VAT returns
* Understanding CIS for contractors and subcontractors
* Liaising with clients, suppliers, HMRC, and other third parties
What You’ll Need:
* Strong experience with bookkeeping software (Sage 50, Xero, Quick Books, Sage Business Cloud)
* Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook
* Experience with bank feeds, Dext, and scanning software
* Comfortable working to tight deadlines
* Knowledge of HMRC VAT processes
* Must have UK Practice experience
