What You’ll Be Doing:
As a Senior Accountant, you’ll be at the heart of our client services:
* Full accounts preparation and oversight for a range of clients
* Managing and mentoring junior staff, overseeing their work, and supporting development
* Handling audits – running and managing company audits where required
* Producing and reviewing management accounts
* Advising on a wide variety of taxes, including Corporation Tax, Income Tax, Capital Gains Tax, VAT, CIS, and PAYE
* Working directly with clients – holding face-to-face meetings and building strong relationships
* Promoting the practice, attending networking events, Linked In engagement, and growing client base
* Supporting office and practice managers with timetabling, budgets, and strategic initiatives
What You’ll Bring :
* Professional accounting qualification preferred
* Excellent technical knowledge across accounts preparation, audit, and taxation
* Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams
* Confident communicator with clients and colleagues alike
* Can-do attitude, taking ownership of tasks and projects
* Experience dealing with HMRC enquiries and tax planning
