Senior Auditor to join a growing firm of accountants in Stourbridge area.

- Assist in planning, resourcing, and structuring audit assignments.
- Perform audit testing and review work completed by junior trainees.
- Draft and review financial statements and audit work papers.
- Support senior management on ad hoc advisory projects, including financial reviews and business-focused analysis.
- Maintain strong technical standards and apply up-to-date audit methodology.
- Build a solid understanding of clients' businesses, risks, and operational challenges.
- Identify issues early and contribute to practical, effective solutions.
- Coach, guide, and develop audit trainees throughout their training.
- Contribute to achieving team targets and upholding quality and compliance standards.
- ACA or ACCA part-qualified or newly qualified (or equivalent).
- Typically 3-5 years' experience in external audit (experience supervising juniors is desirable).
- Strong understanding of audit methodology and financial reporting standards.
- Confident communicator with the ability to liaise professionally with clients.
- Organised, proactive, and capable of managing workloads during busy periods.
- Keen to develop, learn, and progress within a supportive audit team.
- Salary : £30,000-£40,000, depending on experience.
