Retail Operations & Logistics Manager

Stu’s Home Improvement Outlet is one of the fastest-growing retail stores in Dubuque County
, specializing in appliances, furniture, flooring, and home improvement products at outlet pricing.

We are seeking a highly organized and hands-on Retail Operations & Logistics Manager to coordinate store operations, deliveries, product flow, and warranty service.

This role is essential to ensuring our store runs efficiently, customers receive excellent service, and our sales team can focus on selling.

• Schedule and coordinate customer deliveries
• Communicate with delivery drivers and customers
• Ensure deliveries are organized, accurate, and on time
• Manage outgoing deliveries and customer pickups

• Coordinate incoming truckloads and product receiving
• Organize inventory flow from warehouse to sales floor
• Ensure products are staged properly for display and sale
• Track damaged or missing items

• Manage warranty claims for appliances and other products
• Communicate with manufacturers and service providers
• Coordinate service appointments with customers
• Ensure warranty issues are handled professionally and efficiently

• Assist with showroom layout and product placement
• Ensure high-demand products are displayed effectively
• Work with leadership to improve traffic flow and product visibility

• Support the sales team with inventory and product availability
• Maintain organization of warehouse and sales floor
• Help improve systems and operational efficiency
• Assist leadership with operational improvements as the business grows

• Experience in retail operations, logistics, warehouse management, or store management
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Experience coordinating deliveries or logistics
• Ability to problem-solve quickly and manage multiple priorities
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment
• Ability to work both in the office and on the sales floor
