Steve's Ace Home and Garden is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Garden Center Sales team member to join our fun and loving team. As part of our community-focused brand, you will have the opportunity to work with beautiful plants and solution focused products while providing enthusiastic customer service. If you have ever visited our stores in the spring, you know we are the go to place to shop. This position is for (short-term) seasonal employees who want to join in the spring craziness yet still have time to work in their own gardens the rest of the summer. This is a fantastic opportunity for folks who recently retired, have other work responsibilities or simply want to share their love of gardening without a huge commitment.

Although we can be flexible while hiring, these folks typically work a minimum of 4 hour shifts and may be eligible for up to 35 hours per week beginning early/mid April to September.

• Assist customers in finding the perfect plants and gardening supplies
• Provide excellent and enthusiastic customer service and product knowledge
• Maintain a clean and organized garden center

• High school degree or equivalent
• Passion for gardening and outdoor work
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be able to work minimum of one shift every other weekend, including Mother's Day weekend (our time to shine!)
• Ability to work in a fast faced environment and be on your feet during your shift
