Shift: Full-Time, Nights 7:00 pm - 7:00 am, for 72 hours per pay period, holiday and every third weekend rotation

• Triage and assess patients quickly in emergency situations
• Deliver urgent, life-saving care and administer medications
• Assist with critical procedures and monitor patient status
• Collaborate with doctors and the healthcare team for best outcomes
• Support patients and families with compassion under pressure

Education:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (must obtain BSN within 12 years of hire)

Certification/License:

• Current licensure in good standing to practice as a Registered Nurse in Iowa
• Must possess and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or within 3 months from date of hire
• Must possess and maintain current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification or within 1 year from date of hire
• Must possess and maintain current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within 1 year of hire date
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification within 1 year of hire date
