Overview

RFA Engineering () is an engineering service provider dedicated to delivering clients timely engineering support and expertise. We are seeking an experienced candidate to become an integral part of our team. The selected candidate will work with an experienced engineering staff using state-of-the-art engineering tools and processes. This position will operate onsite at our customer's world-class engineering and manufacturing facility.

Position

Production Supervisor (Team Lead)

Production Supervisor (Team Lead) will support manufacturing operations by leading a team of production employees in a fast-paced environment. The Supervisor will be responsible for driving Safety, Quality, and Delivery performance while fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to ensure production goals are achieved efficiently and safely.

This is a 1st shift position, hours are 5:30am - 3:00pm. Overtime will be required at times.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and lead a team of production employees, ensuring clear understanding of roles, responsibilities, and performance expectations related to Safety, Quality, and Delivery.
  • Collaborate with management to develop and execute production schedules to meet daily and weekly output targets.
  • Monitor production metrics and workflow to ensure efficiency, productivity, and adherence to quality standards.
  • Identify skill gaps within the team and coordinate training and development opportunities to enhance performance.
  • Provide constructive feedback, conduct performance discussions, and hold team members accountable for results.
  • Promote and lead continuous improvement initiatives by encouraging employee involvement and implementing process enhancements.
  • Address and resolve team conflicts in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Support daily and weekend overtime as required to meet production demands.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or technical certification preferred.
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong ability to lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team.
  • Demonstrated conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective decision-making skills with the ability to act based on available information.
  • Knowledge of workplace safety standards and best practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement principles.
  • Experience tracking and reporting production metrics.

Pay Range: $60,000-$80,000 – Commensurate with experience
