Palmer Group is partnering with a top-tier NE Iowa manufacturer in their search for a CNC Programmer. As a CNC Programmer, you’ll be at the center of transforming ideas into high‑quality, precision‑machined parts. If you thrive in a fast‑paced environment and take pride in technical mastery, this opportunity is built for you.
- On-Site
- 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM or 4:30 PM - 3:00 AM
- Monday - Thursday
What you will do:
- Program and optimize CNC milling machines
- Apply your hands‑on experience with CNC machines to ensure world‑class performance
- Collaborate closely with engineers, machinists, and production teams to drive efficient, accurate workflows
- Troubleshoot, debug, and refine CNC programs for peak machine optimization
- Uphold strict quality standards to ensure every part meets exact specifications
What you will need to be successful:
- Experience programming CNC mills, including creating and modifying G‑code
- Proficiency with Mastercam and familiarity with Brother and Okuma machine platforms
- A problem‑solving mindset and strong attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, hands‑on environment
- A desire to keep learning and growing your technical craft
