Shift:1st Shift;
Monday-Friday 7:00AM - 3:00PM
Pay:$17.50/hour
We are looking for a dedicated Blasterto join our production team in Dubuque, IA. The Blaster is responsible for preparing products for coating by ensuring all products meet customer specifications, company quality standards, and production goals while maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate blast machines to prepare parts for coating.
Follow job travelers and production schedules to ensure proper processing and efficiency.
Use forklifts and pallet jacks to transport heavy product bins to and from machines.
Conduct quality checks frequently throughout each job.
Maintain daily documentation and logs as required.
Ensure product is processed correctly to prevent rust or under-treatment.
Perform safety walks and ensure workspace is free from hazards.
Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively across shifts.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Cross-train in other areas of production as needed.
Support other departments and complete additional tasks as assigned.
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs frequently, 65 lbs occasionally, and 75 lbs rarely.
Comfortable working in a production environment with chemicals and high temperatures.
Full range of physical motion, including standing, bending, twisting, and reaching for extended periods.
Dependability and attention to detail.
Basic math, reading, and writing skills.
Basic computer skills.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to follow instructions and maintain focus in a fast-paced environment.
Work is performed in a production/warehouse setting.
Exposure to chemicals and hot conditions.
Frequent movement, including standing and lifting throughout the shift.
Manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination required.
