Job Summary

Machine Operator – Full-time position at Andersen Corporation. This role involves material selection and inspection, operating machining equipment, ensuring quality standards, conducting safety audits, and participating in continuous improvement initiatives.

• Select proper material
• Inspect material
• Operate machining equipment
• Assure quality standards are understood and met
• Work constructively with others
• Perform safety audits
• Follow standard work, control plans, and written instructions
• Participate in continuous improvement and lean initiatives
• Coach and train new associates
• Change and install tooling (when applicable)
• Compile daily production reports
• Perform basic preventive maintenance on equipment
• Identify shortages and request delivery through proper personnel
• Follow proper procedures for inventory control
• Maintain inventory of supplies
• Assure conformance with the 5S program
• Assure compliance with all related safety policies and procedures
• Understand and participate in achieving departmental and company goals
• Assist with hazardous waste management (Koch Dip equipment)

• High School Graduate/GED or prior experience with Eagle Window and Door
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills
• Ability to use measuring equipment and read prints
• Basic product knowledge
• Understanding of related safety policies and procedures
• Physical ability to perform job duties, including lifting up to 50 lbs. and frequent bending and stooping
• Completion of lock‑out/tag‑out training
• Demonstrated ability to be trained on and operate specialized equipment
• Oral communication skills

$22.20 – $25.34 per hour
