Each team member plays a vital role in our success. We are rapidly expanding and looking for a professional, self-motivated individual to fill the role of Warehouse Outbound Manager.

The Warehouse Outbound Manager reports directly to the Warehouse Operations Manager and will be responsible for all the outbound activity within the warehouse. He/she will manage 4-5 direct reports and oversee 40-50 team members.

To succeed as a Warehouse Outbound Manager you must be able to maintain a high level of productivity, efficiency and culture of customer service within the outbound departments of the warehouse.

• Receive, analyze and react to daily status reports across all outbound distribution center functional areas.
• Review departmental and individual metrics to identify and improve performance.
• Adjust, analyze and audit processes seeking increases in both efficiency and productivity.
• Ensure picking and product transfer processes are being carried out efficiently and accurately.
• Formulate and enforce picking goals for each area/zone of the warehouse.
• Oversee individual picking productivity and accuracy metrics.
• Ensure trucks/trailers are efficiently and accurately loaded to support the efficient movement of goods and materials to their destinations to fulfill commitment to our customers and support sales objectives.
• Work with dispatchers and outbound production team to enhance customer service via delivery vehicles.
• Oversee routing of deliveries to customers and stores to find the most efficient route. Plan routes for shuttles that travel between (hub) warehouse and stores (spokes).
• Analyze data on deliveries and transportation between hub warehouses and stores, recommending and implementing improvements.
• Oversee E-Commerce fulfilment, insuring that orders are being shipped accurately and within customer-required time frames.

• Lead and supervise a team of departmental supervisors.
• Adjust staffing across multi-functional platforms when timelines are in jeopardy and plan staffing/workflow according to dynamic market changes.

• Review and maintain departmental budgets, control operating expenses and project future expenditures based on fluctuations in activity (as necessary).
• Maintain a meticulous standard for cleanliness, organization, and safety throughout the warehouse.
• Maintain a safe working environment. Ensure that safety and compliance practices meet DOT and OSHA standards
• Maintain 5S warehouse principles are administered and followed on a routine basis
• Frequently communicate with warehouse and executive level management.
