Cottingham & Butler is seeking an AWS Cloud Administrator to help shape the future of our cloud environment and support the growing demand for data, analytics, and AI-driven solutions. This is a high‑impact role for someone who enjoys building modern cloud infrastructure, optimizing performance and cost, and partnering across teams to deliver secure, scalable AWS capabilities.
What You’ll Do- Administer and optimize AWS compute, storage, networking, and platform services
- Manage IAM, security configurations, and compliance controls
- Lead AWS cost optimization, including tagging, rightsizing, and Savings Plans
- Build and maintain cloud infrastructure using Terraform, Cloud Formation, or CDK
- Automate operations with Python, Bash, AWS CLI, and Lambda
- Support CI/CD pipelines and Dev Ops practices
- Maintain data lake infrastructure and S3 lifecycle policies
- Provision and support AWS AI/ML services such as Amazon Bedrock and Sage Maker
- Partner with Data Engineering, Software Engineering, and Security teams
- Support backup, disaster recovery, and incident response
- 3+ years of hands‑on AWS administration experience
- Strong knowledge of core AWS services (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, Lambda, RDS)
- Experience with AWS cost management and optimization
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools
- Scripting and automation experience
- Understanding of cloud security and IAM best practices
- Familiarity with CI/CD and Dev Ops concepts
- Experience with AWS data services (Glue, Redshift, Lake Formation, Athena, EMR)
- Exposure to AWS AI/ML services (Bedrock, Sage Maker)
- Serverless and event‑driven architectures
- Experience in regulated industries
