HRIS Professional, Regulatory Compliance Specialist, Talent Manager, Employee Relations
The HR Generalist - HRIS & Benefits is a key member of the HR team responsible for managing HR systems, data integrity, payroll processes, benefits administration, and compliance reporting. This role serves as the primary administrator for the HRIS system, ensures accurate and compliant reporting across multiple worksites, acts as the main point of contact for all benefits programs including leaves of absence, and supports HR transactional processes.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of balancing multiple HR functions with a strong focus on accuracy, compliance, and employee service.
- HRIS Administration & Payroll Support
- Serve as the primary administrator of the HRIS system, maintaining accurate employee data and configurations.
- Complete daily transactional HRIS adjustments including pay increases, promotions, progressions, and senior evaluations.
- Manage weekly timecard processes and coordinate with payroll to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
- Generate and analyze internal and external HR reports, ensuring compliance and data integrity.
- Partner with HRIS vendor for system enhancements, troubleshooting, and compliance updates.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employment verifications.
- Support process improvements within the HRIS and payroll functions.
- Benefits Administration
- Act as the main point of contact and day-to-day Benefits Administrator for all company-sponsored programs.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding benefits, coverage, and enrollment.
- Facilitate annual open enrollment processes, including communication, enrollment, and documentation.
- Assist with new hire benefit elections and ensure timely enrollment and accurate records.
- Support ongoing benefits administration, including changes, terminations, and compliance reporting.
- Leave of Absence Management
- Administer leave of absence requests, including FMLA, medical leave, and other statutory or company-provided leave programs.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations and maintain accurate documentation for all leaves.
- Advise management and employees on leave policies and procedures.
- Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure HRIS data supports compliance reporting requirements for multiple worksites.
- Prepare and submit required reports, including EEOC, ACA, and other federal or state compliance filings.
- Maintain HR documentation and records to meet regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Partner with leadership to ensure HR processes across all locations remain compliant.
- General HR Support
- Collaborate with HR team members to support department initiatives, projects, and employee communications.
- Assist in ad hoc reporting, HR metrics, and audits as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in HRIS administration, benefits management, and compliance reporting.
- Strong knowledge of HRIS systems, payroll processes, benefits administration, and federal/state compliance. Experience with Paycor preferred.
- Knowledge of EEOC, ACA, and other HR compliance requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to manage confidential information.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with employees at all levels.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
