Caregiver - Overnights

Overview

We’re looking for a compassionate and dependable in-home caregiver to join our growing team in Dubuque and the surrounding areas
!

The ideal candidate has a positive, can-do attitude, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to provide varying levels of support tailored to each client’s needs. This position is for awake overnight shifts
, scheduled from 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM
, where attentiveness and reliability are essential.

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as meal preparation, medication reminders, and companionship.
• Provide support with personal care services, including bath assistance and grooming.
• Help clients with mobility and transportation needs.
• Keep accurate records of care provided and any changes in client condition.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.

• Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills
• Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation every single day
• Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner
• Prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment (minimum of 1 year)
• Supportive and compassionate
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Take pride in providing high quality care
