Overview
MSA has an opportunity for a Project Engineer focused on Site Design for Recreational Development projects. This position will assist with project types such as trails, parks, coastal/waterfront engineering, boat launches, splash pads, and more. In this role, you will collaborate closely with Landscape Architects, Engineers, Planners, and more. This position is Flex Time eligible, meaning MSA recognizes your time when you work over 40+ hours, and hybrid working arrangements are possible.

ResponsibilitiesThe work you will do:
- Client liaison duties, including meetings with existing and new clients
- Project planning, scoping, budgeting, and QA/QC
- Preparation and review of plans, details, specifications, and bidding documents
- Review of regulatory permits for projects
- Complete technical reports for projects
- Design of recreation development, coastal, and waterfront infrastructure projects
- Mentoring of younger staff
What you bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering required
- 5+ years of experience in consulting with applicable project duties preferred
- Professional Engineer license required
- This position requires you to have authorization to work in the United States for any employer. We will not provide sponsorship for this position.
The salary for this position ranges from $88,871 to $142,194 per year, commensurate with experience. Higher compensation within this range will be paid to candidates with significant experience and exceptional qualifications.
