UnityPoint Clinic is actively recruiting a Neurosurgery Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our team in Dubuque, IA. Finley Hospital has served the greater Dubuque community for over 130 years, evolving from a physician-led residential facility to a regional healthcare system including hospital, clinic, and home services.

Opportunity Highlights

• Assist in growing a new practice with strong physician support.

• Current team includes 1 Neurosurgeon and 1 PA.

• Full-time position offering inpatient and outpatient care.

• Utilize EPIC EMR for care coordination across clinics and hospitals.

Responsibilities

• Manageoutpatient and 3-5 inpatient patients daily.

• Clinic hours:
Monday-Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM.

• Potential backup call and weekend rounding once fully trained.

• Support the physician in the OR.

• Evaluate and interpret patient information to guide care decisions.

• Collaborate effectively within the team and communicate clearly.

Qualifications

• Physician Assistant (preferred) or Nurse Practitioner with OR experience.

• Board Certified.

• Unrestricted medical license in IA.

• Authority to prescribe and administer medications in IA.

• Eligible to work in the U.S.
