McCoy Construction & Forestry, a John Deere dealership group with 25 locations across the Midwest and East South-Central Regions, is hiring an Accounting Assistant to perform accounting and administrative functions ensuring consistency in reporting and compliance with accounting principles.

• Creating and entering journal entries for the monthly financial close process.
• Assisting staff accounts in daily tasks.
• Filing State Sales and Use Tax returns.
• Completing ad hoc analytical projects and tasks as requested by senior management.
• Representing McCoy Construction & Forestry in a professional manner at all times.
• Performing any other duties as delegated by senior management.

• Preferred: 2-year college degree in accounting, finance, or related business discipline or equivalent experience.
• Previous experience of 1-3 years as an accounting assistant or related role.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage a fast‑paced workflow.
• Ability to work with confidential information and maintain confidentiality.
