Linke Resources has partnered with a regional provider in Central and Western Pennsylvania dedicated to providing mental health, and substance use disorder services to children, teens, adults, and families, seeking dedicated psychiatrists to join their team.
As a Psychiatrist, you will treat a wide variety of mental health conditions that reflect the needs of this diverse patient population. Patient demographics across all the clinics served is 65% adults and 35% children and adolescents. Nearly 80% of clinic population have typical outpatient mental health diagnoses including anxiety, depression, and trauma related PTSD, while 20-30% includes MAT treating SUD diagnoses.
You will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, treating, and prescribing medications for behavioral health and psychological disorders. This is an outpatient clinical environment where you will interact directly with patients.
Location
This psychiatrist will provide clinical services in one of two regions with a regular weekly rotating clinic schedule within the region.
Region One:
Central to Dubois with clinic offices in Punxsutawney, Clarion, and St Mary's
Region Two:
Central to State College with clinic offices in Altoona, Huntington, and Lewistown
Hours
- Full Time, Weekdays
- Psychiatrist has the option of five 8-hour workdays, or four 10-hour workdays
- Medical Degree (M.D. or D.O.)
- Current Pennsylvania Medical License
- Provide direct clinical services to patients in the form of psychosocial assessments, individual and family treatment.
- Conduct outpatient psychiatric evaluations and provide ongoing medication management.
- Collaborate as a member of a multi-disciplinary integrated team for the clinic and delivery of treatment plans.
- Foster excellent provider-patient alliances and coordinate care with external providers.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Reviews assessments of client functioning level, strengths, needs, and progress relative to treatment plan requirements.
- Conducts medication management sessions and prescribe medications according to best practices.
- Provide direct clinical supervision to Nurse Practitioners and other clinical staff, as indicated.
