Position Summary

Senior General Facilities Maintenance Technician – Walmart

Join a dynamic team to maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets using multiple craft skills such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and material handling. The role focuses on providing prompt response to emergencies, completing repair work orders, and ensuring all safety training is completed.

• Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment and assets using plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling equipment and food equipment, hand and power tools, and equipment.
• Utilize the work order management system to receive reactive repair work orders for stores and store associates and document repair activities.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect, operate or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete all required training requirements to operate equipment and tools safely.

• 18 years old or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid state‑issued driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Vocational or technical certification and 5 years of experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related trade (or 7 years of experience).
• 1 year using intermediate level word processing, spreadsheet, email, and presentation software such as Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to move up and down ladders and work comfortably at heights.

• Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
