Nurse Unit Manager - Full Time

Dublin Post Acute is seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Unit Manager (RN or LPN) to join our leadership team! We are a resident-focused facility committed to delivering exceptional clinical care, strong teamwork, and a supportive work environment.

Position Summary

The Nurse Unit Manager oversees the daily clinical operations of their assigned unit, ensuring high-quality resident care, regulatory compliance, and strong communication across all departments. This role provides leadership, coaching, and support to nursing staff while collaborating closely with the DON and interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and support nurses and STNAs on the unit to ensure exceptional resident care
  • Coordinate and oversee resident care plans, assessments, and clinical documentation
  • Monitor resident conditions, respond to changes, and communicate updates to providers and families
  • Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility standards
  • Participate in care conferences, rounds, audits, and quality improvement initiatives
  • Support staffing needs, scheduling updates, and daily workflow management
  • Promote a positive team culture, address concerns promptly, and mentor staff for success
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including therapy, dietary, social services, and activities
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and complete documentation
Qualifications
  • RN or LPN license in good standing in the state of Ohio
  • Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred
  • Leadership or charge nurse experience required
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and maintain professionalism under pressure
  • Commitment to resident-centered care and teamwork
