Desktop Support Technician

Description

We are looking for a skilled Desktop Support Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth operation and maintenance of desktop systems, hardware, and software. You will provide technical support to associates, troubleshoot issues, and ensure optimal functionality of IT systems.

Responsibilities:

- Provide support for desktop operating systems and applications, including O365, and specialized production labeling systems.

- Install, configure, and set up new desktop and laptop computers for employees.

- Respond to helpdesk inquiries and assist associates with technical issues.

- Facilitate video conference setup and troubleshooting as needed.

- Diagnose and resolve hardware issues related to desktops, laptops, scales, thermal printers, and handheld scanners.

- Maintain detailed and accurate records of hardware inventory and software licensing agreements.

- Deliver training sessions for new hires and promoted associates on network access and IT systems, as well as ongoing education for all employees.

- Perform upgrades, troubleshooting, and proactive maintenance for production labeling systems.

Requirements - Associate's Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.

- At least 2 years of experience in computer and IT support roles.

- Proficiency with Windows 7/10 operating systems and Office 2016 applications.

- Strong troubleshooting skills, including Wi-Fi and network functionality.

- Familiarity with Active Directory and general hardware support.

- Experience with C# programming is a plus.

- A+ certification is preferred.

- Ability to provide excellent user support and manage helpdesk tasks effectively. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
