Admissions Coordinator - Inpatient Rehab
Ohio Health Rehabilitation Hospital – Dublin
Location: Dublin, OH
Employment Type: Full Time | On Site | Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm
Salary Range: $35,000 – $50,000
Bonus: Up to $300 in monthly bonus incentives

- Serves as a member of the Business Development Team, managing referral intake and admissions of all patients.
- Maintains close communication with all departments to prepare for admissions day.
- Oversees pull-through process under the Director of Business Development, providing support, customer service and timely resolution of admissions issues.
- Ensures all deficiencies remain at 0% to eliminate holds, working with CBO and HIM.
- Ensures timely and accurate referral entry in Transitions of Care.
- Processes insurance verifications and assists in pre-cert/authorization, tracking follow-up.
- Coordinates with DBD, CEO, and other leaders for timely admissions.
- Works with team to resolve challenges and obstacles.
- Leads morning meeting with census, budget numbers.
- Communicates admissions details (time, bed, physician) to hospital for confirmed admissions.
- Provides hospital tours.
- Provides customer service by accurately answering questions for internal and external customers.
- Manages LOAs in HMS/Med Host, ensuring accurate entries, completing forms for corrections.
- Reviews and enters daily census via Select Portal by 11am EST.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Education:
High School Graduate or equivalent. - Minimum of two years experience in an Admissions or Pre-Admissions Department.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Knowledge of insurance verification.
- Experience working with Excel and databases.
- Previous experience in a physical rehabilitation setting.
