The primary responsibility of the Precertification Specialist is to obtain prior authorizations for oncology and hematology services ordered by our healthcare providers.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical healthcare business office setting, preferably within the field of oncology, with working knowledge of the prior authorization process.
• Detailed understanding of ICD-10 and CPT coding and medical terminology.
• Familiarity in oncology and/or Next Gen is highly desirable.
• Ability to prioritize competing demands and strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional demeanor and outstanding customer service skills.
