Location: Onsite in Dublin, OH (open to hybrid flexibility after initial training) YOU MUST ALREADY RESIDE WITHIN AN HOUR OF COLUMBUS, OH TO BE CONSIDERED. We are not offering relocation at this time.
Pay Range: $90,000 – $100,000 (commensurate with experience)
SUMMARY:
The Senior Financial Analyst plays a critical, highly analytical role supporting pricing strategy, margin analysis, financial planning, and acquisition performance reviews across the organization. This role partners closely with FP&A leadership, Strategic Accounts, and the M&A team to deliver accurate, timely, and actionable insights that drive decision-making, profitability, and long-term growth.
This position blends traditional FP&A responsibilities with a strong pricing and margin focus, as well as post-acquisition performance analysis. The ideal candidate is intellectually curious, comfortable working with ambiguity, and energized by solving complex business problems through data. While deep expertise in every area is not expected, a strong analytical foundation, positive mindset, and passion for financial problem-solving are essential.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Serve as a key analytical partner to the Strategic Accounts team by supporting pricing strategy, cost analysis, and margin optimization.
- Analyze pricing, cost, and margin data to identify opportunities to increase profitability and EBITDA.
- Review historical sales, repair order, and market data to inform pricing decisions and support rate discussions.
- Develop and maintain pricing-related analyses and reports that surface trends, risks, and opportunities for leadership.
- Support cadenced pricing and margin reporting for executive leadership.
- Support the M&A team through financial review of recent acquisitions, including performance tracking against deal models and expectations.
- Develop and maintain cadenced acquisition performance reporting, highlighting trends, risks, and integration insights.
- Partner with finance leadership to evaluate post-acquisition financial performance, margin trends, and operational impacts.
- Assist in building scalable reporting frameworks to support future acquisitions.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning.
- Support and enhance forecasting and planning processes within Workday Adaptive Planning, including model ownership, reporting, and scenario analysis.
- Partner with FP&A leadership to refine assumptions, drivers, and methodologies to improve forecast accuracy.
- Build and maintain recurring and ad-hoc reports that deliver clear, actionable insights to executive leadership.
- Develop dashboards and analytical tools (Excel; Power BI a plus) to support business performance monitoring.
- Perform variance analysis, trend analysis, and root-cause analysis across financial and operational metrics.
- Balance planned work with ad-hoc analytical requests while maintaining discipline around priorities.
- Partner closely with accounting to ensure alignment between actuals, forecasts, and plans.
- Collaborate with Strategic Accounts, and M&A stakeholders to translate data into meaningful business insights.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of financial processes, documentation, and analytical rigor.
- 3–6+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, financial analysis, pricing analysis, or a related analytical role.
- 1–2 years of hands-on experience with Workday Adaptive Planning (required).
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Strong experience creating reports and analyses for senior and executive leadership.
- Strong analytical mindset with a passion for solving complex problems.
- Ability to support pricing and margin analysis for the Strategic Accounts Team.
- Ability to support M&A performance reviews and acquisition-related reporting.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel;
Power BI experience is a plus. - Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights.
- Comfortable operating in environments with evolving processes and imperfect data.
