T&M Associates is currently seeking an Environmental Engineer (entry level) for our Columbus Ohio or Middletown/ Mt Laurel locations, to assist in treatment designs, support field tasks, assist project engineers and project managers with multi-disciplinary environmental compliance and remediation teams on a national basis. Projects will include design of soil, air, and groundwater treatment processes and infrastructure, executing AutoCAD and ArcGIS deliverables, and working with a strong team of civil, environmental, automation, electrical, and structural engineers.
Responsibilities- Environmental engineering designs and calculations
- Support our Project Managers and Senior Engineers in the planning and design of Environmental projects for clients nationwide
- Lead planning tasks by performing analyses and calculations, creating figures and tables, and preparing technical reports
- Support design tasks by planning, performing, and overseeing detailed drawing and technical specification production and performing necessary design calculations
- Participate in and/or oversee field data collection in support of environmental-related evaluations and designs.
- Work in the field or at a project site for short durations
- Provide engineering during construction assistance and/or construction oversight
- Communicate clearly with team members and manage workload
- Apply quality assurance and quality control processes
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
- 1-5 years of related experience, including familiarity with remediation systems, pumping & well infrastructure, and water/wastewater treatment
- Prior experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and ArcGIS is a plus
- Current 40-Hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification is a plus
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment, self-motivated, organized, and eager to learn
T&M Associates is committed to pay transparency and equitable compensation practices in compliance with applicable laws, including the New Jersey Equal Pay Act. T&M estimates that the salary range for this position will fall between $75,000 - $85,000. The actual salary offered may vary within this range, depending on a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, educational qualifications, specific skills and knowledge, as well as internal pay equity and geographic location.
